The gray, somber setting of the first few minutes gave me a great feeling of anticipation before I felt bombarded with hectic scenes that didn't leave many impressions on me. That really all changed, however, as the story progressed. Not to mention, Jim Carrey's acting was wonderful and definitely kept my interest going. In the end, it's a fantastic story that just left me feeling oh so good on the inside... real good.

It was everything you said for sure. Excellent movie with just the right amount of humor, reality, and near term science fiction. Interesting technique to have a comedy with Jim Carey acting serious throughout it.
