Obama to be 1st African-American major party nominee for President in U.S. History!
Personally, I really like the guy, and think he would be a breath of fresh air.

And just in case we were thinking the McCain as George Bush III claims were overstated, he's reversed himself on
warrantless wiretapping, and now says "Yes!" to spying on Americans without a warrant!

I can't believe Obama made it this far. Everything's exceeded my own expectations.
Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams. - Hagakure: The Book of the Samurai, Yamamoto Tsunetomo |

Mine too. I was prepared to have to vote for Hillary at the beginning, but I think many, many people just wanted a viable alternative to doing so. When she
chose to deal with that phenomena by getting nasty, I think she dug her own political grave.

Because we haven't been very active on this board, so far the whole debacle of McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for vice president
hasn't even come up. However, with all the media going on about how she's won him so many points, especially with women, the word needs to be spread
about this Alaska Women Reject Palin rally that totally trumped her own pro-rally
when she recently returned home!
