THANK YOU!!! Well, I think that the Bush Admin. is doing something stupid and foolish. Of course, not in the light that they will be gaining power in the Middle East by doing this. I think it's only stupid because of my views of ethics in power. If I were a man of the world, looking for the benefit of myself, I STILL wouldn't make war with Iraq. I would, instead, do something MUCH, MUCH more tactful. I would go along with this UN Resolution to have Iraq bring in the inspectors. If they would not let them in, THEN you go to war. If they do let them in, and they have weapons of MD, then you go to war again. If they do not have weapons of MD, then you establish military people in their country to regulate what weapons they build and make sure they enforce their no weapons of MD policy or whatever. That takes away the problem of public opinion that you're trying to seize power, b/c THAT is what I think Bush is doing, trying to seize power. I would then have to find out some way to keep the public calm if they didn't have weapons. Otherwise, bombs are adroppin'!!! Now, if I was Bush and had ethics and morals and if I actually believed that Iraq had weapons and Hussein was an evil, evil tyrant, which no doubt Bush DOES believe, I would then STILL go with the UN Inspections. That way, if they have weapons, then they can be destroyed. If they don't, there should be apoligies from ME (Pres. Bush) and ALSO Hussein for not having the Inspections performed YEARS earlier. I would still not trust Hussein, considering he may somehow have intricate little tunnels like all this "intelligence information" may point out to, and I would simply ask for regular inspections and also a list of what kind of military weaponry or anything that may pertain to building weapons and other equipment in military use. If they refuse, then you threaten, if that doesn't work, you slap 'em across the face a little, just so they know you mean business. If it comes down to the fact that Iraq just doesn't wanna cooperate due to Hussein, then Hussein just has to die. Then, you get an heir, Iraqi in birth, with no political connection to the US. That way the US isn't controlling Iraq with a puppet. Now THERE'S true ethics.

I doubt many would agree with... but, oh well. I guess if I was Bush, I would think, act and BE Bush, so, in effect, I would do EXACTLY what he's doing. But that's beside the point.

Hmm... quite interesting. I only read the thing about the oil which I agree with quite a bit. It scares me...

Actually, lately I've been falling a little behind on the Iraqi thing, haven't been readin' my newspapers. Where does the US stand?

Welp... war it is. Hmm, I was just wondering about that. Anyway, what do you think will be the outcomes of the war? Any takers? (Besides the obvious that Iraq will lose big, no competition) On a political aspect... what do you think will happen?
