Power cut at Russian bases all over the place. Apparently Russia is learning their first "imperialist swine" technique, that of stiffing the power company. Apparently a number of times that happened the bases sent troops to force the power back on. Something your average cash starved Joe could never do.

Bush is an idiot. He called nations evil...for creating weapons that we currently own ( and are probably secretly developing). He's trying to start some sh!t.

I always tell people who question my many hours online that the internet is a perfect meritocracy. Their answer is that the "real" world isn't like that. My answer is "It should be, 'cause the current way is really screwed up."

I hear you. Personally I think there's no substitute for the "real" world, since majority perception always rules, but if anyone's going to argue that it's a good place, well, sometimes perhaps, but maybe they're seeing something I'm not.

I'm glad to see some folks taking a stand. I like the distinction they are drawing between defense and occupation. It's important. I applaud these soldiers. Funny how Sharon considers this a threat to democracy. Quite ironic. "Do what I say! Restrict the freedoms of another people and perpetuate the cycle of violence!"<---not a real quote.

E-mail claims U.S. reporter in Pakistan killed
U.S. officials said Friday there are reasons to be skeptical about both the e-mail that claims kidnapped journalist Daniel Pearl has been killed and a telephone call reportedly demanding a ransom for his life. Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light?

There was a spoof commercial for camp X-ray on David Letterman last night, any of you catch it? Oh, that's another thing, it's the shows 20 year anniversary.

It was more strange and annoying then a spoof. Really, The Late Night Show is going the way of SNL. Good riddance I say, 20 years is 20 too many.
