We had bouts with the flu that sent SL to the emergency room Wed night/Thursday morning (which with no family in town meant me babysitting all night in lobby). I took Thursday off to help with the baby, but mostly to catch up on sleep myself, and then Friday morning the fever part hit me at 101.2, at which point we gave in and called my mom 200 miles away in Kennewick, WA and had her drive over to help us keep from getting our baby sick. I never had SL's vomiting or (ahem) other symptoms, but I still felt like a truck hit me for two days and could not eat a thing or get out of bed except to move to the couch. All this while Portland had totally unseasonable weather of 95 degrees and our little A/C unit in the bedroom had to work for the whole house.
So we didn't stay sick as long as you, but boy was it concentrated.
Lets all lift a tall cool one and toast our health, on this, perhaps the last board on EZ Board!
