Somebody got ahold of my ATM # and used it to go on a shopping spree through Porltand (though I never lost the card so I don't know how they paid for some of this stuff...)
Really dumb crooks, they spent $153 at Ross (?), $70 at a pizza place, another $70 at a gas station, and $140 at a tire place! |

Nicholas, that was my question. I'm hoping that wasn't a huge setback for you, sorry about that happening anyway.
My update... ugh, where do I start? It's amazing how time flies when you're busy. Not really even having fun, just being busy. I suppose I'll start at the beginning of my summer. I started by getting a job with a friend's dad doing whatever. I helped install a garage door. Then, I helped them roof the garage, which was mainly done by Rachel, the daughter and me... mostly Rachel. Man, I hate carrying shingles up the ladder. Then I went up to my Kankakee family for about two weeks. Had a blast as usual. Nothing much happened. Well, I came back, did some more stuff for work. I helped install a garage door opener, which was a piece of cake. I did some railroad tie landscaping. Then I went back up north, visited for another two weeks. Not disappointing. And then school started and I lack any kind of motivation do schoolwork. I still do it though, somehow... it's weird. Sad, I know. All in all, fun summer, fast summer, unfortunate school year. The bank will probably eat the charges, but they make you wait with no money while they sort it out.
My guess is there was a sizeable amount of beer involved at the pizza place as well, or else they fed a few friends. |

Getting Married in about 13 hours.
 Just bought $40 worth of sushi for the reception. So I won't be posting for a few days, as we're honeymooning on the Oregon Coast. |

The wedding was a wonderful and very positive experience. We got a digital camera among our presents, so I'll be putting together a site with some photos in the near future and will post the link.

Thanks Tex! Of course marriage in the best of situations is kind of an affirmation of where you already are, which is certainly what it was for us. A chance to make official what was pretty much going on, and celebrate.

I am still in the military but probably not for much longer. Living in a house in town with a couple of military civilain and law enforcement types. Battling the area drug lords. Taking on the corrupt Biker Gangs and Drug Task Force and all around trying to stay ahead of my bills!

I'm running the sound today for two shows of CDE & Friends the Spring Reperatory Concert of Columbia Dance Ensemble the youth dance company that I work for in the afternoons. The shows are at the Winninstad Theatre in the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. I'm doing it mostly for the much needed extra cash, but it's cool to be djing, in a way, again in a whole new environment. Also cool to be facilitating young people pursuing their art.
I burned my finger on a cup of tea from the microwave this morning, and it's starting to sting. Lame. My grandmother wants me to take this huge framed picture of my parents together taken shortly before they were divorced. She says that I could maybe use the frame for a print. I'm not sure if I should play along with this or not. It would probably make things easier for her emotionally, I suppose. I'd just end up taking it to Goodwill though, and she could save us both some travelling with the useless item to do that. |

The cat threw up. The toilet was plugged. I knocked over SL's jewelry box full of tiny earrings. She found out she has conjunctivitis in both eyes. My relief at my first job was late. I called in sick at my second job due to exhaustion only to get a call a short while ago from a student wondering where my boss is... |
