I thought I get to the heart of LuckyLotus' topic "When a date isn't a date," and ask you guys (and girls) if you think you understand the opposite sex. I find a conversation with my girl friends about their boyfriends or boy friends always results in frustrated mutterings of "ugh, guys..." and the reverse with my guy friends, "girls."
I'm not trying to say this is a problem that must be solved, because I know it won't be. But why does such confusion arise between guys and girls? Is it something we've grown up hearing about and seeing made fun of in sitcoms, movies, etc. so that we accept it as the norm? Or is there really a barrier between the sexes that will never be crossed?
(Oh, now she's done it! She's started a topic on guys v. girls! The horror....)
