It's weird, I never got a message left by a telemarketer on an answering machine or voice mail at all before, but they seem to be running rampant on our new phone. Maybe it was illegal in Washington and isn't in Oregon. Or maybe it's just a new thing that happened to occur at the time of our move. I can see that with people online all day using dial up internet and all the call screening going on, that they must have a harder time connecting with people than ever before. They often leave 1-800 numbers which is scary since some of those charge like 1-900 numbers now.

Actually the Embassy has been sort of merged with the Aural Intercourse Research Laboratories, but the Dictator hasn't quite gotten around to taking down this old building, so it's ripe for squatting!
