...not sure if it's a great one or not, I wonder what others would think, but how about when you go to the main page if it said the name of the last person to comment in each forum. That way you can tell if somebody has added anything at all without having to click or carefully watch the count.

That's a great idea actually, but I'm not sure how I'd be able to code that in, since the engine is totally run by ezBoard. One other option that you might want to consider is the "mark forum read" option that resides in each forum, or the "mark all forums read" one that's on the main page. It'll keep track of whenever a new message comes in with that yellow portfolio graphic on the left-side. It gets tedious, but that's the best method at the moment.

well that's pretty cool.
 hey, do you think I could petition the House to change my user status. I don't want to be a Governor or anything with responsibility like that, but I was wondering if I could move up from Psych- citizen to Psych- otic.
