Psychologie: The Territories Frequently Asked Questions:
(last updated 5/6/02)
What is each forum for?
Arctic Squirrel Pub - General, Mental Rehab
Aural Intercourse Research Labs - Music
Library of A/V Antiquities - Books, Films, Videogames
Blockade Runners Tech Depot - Technology (computers)
Propaganda Corps - Politics, Current Events
Center for Better Family Living - Social Relationships
O.A.S.I.S. - Writing
Is this board an RPG?
No. However, it does feature "general discussion" on the backdrop of a fictional 1984/Animal Farm-inspired dystopian world. But again, no, this is not an RPG. (If you are interested in Ministry-themed stories, check out our O.A.S.I.S. forum for a couple of examples.)
What's the main site all about?
Psychologie: Love, War, and the Creamy Filling is intended to become an "alternative news e-zine," with an emphasis on international affairs. The "News from the Warfront" feature will showcase personal stories from cities from all over the world -- particularly those that are currently in "hot spot" regions, i.e. war-torn. In short, the project is intended to boost social awareness by giving readers a taste of what life in other cities can be like.
However, as of the time of this FAQ's most recent update, the editorial staff has been knee-deep in its spring college semester, and the project has been temporarily stalled as a result. We definitely intend to resume production later this May, and we would be thrilled if anybody out there would like to contribute any stories, articles, or photographs, or perhaps even be a part of the Psychologie editorial staff. Please forward all queries to PsychCentral@yahoo.com.
What's up with the talking squirrels fetish?
You know, I've been wondering about the very same thing ...
Can I be a moderator (governor)?
Maybe! As a matter of fact, the Propaganda Corps (Politics) forum is looking for a replacement. Here's the link if you are interested.
SPQF - WTF?
Senatus Populusque Finus ("The Senate and People of the Territories"), a bastardization of the SPQR slogan of Roman lore. A Propaganda Corps motto originally devised for Psychologie's latest promotional campaign, every Corpsman of our fictitious Corps is said to have these very initials branded into his right shoulder as a constant reminder of what it is that he's defending. Remember that this is only used as a story element. In no way are we supporting or sponsoring an actual army.
Do you have an ad button?
Yes! Feel free to link us. Contact the WarOps Ministry for affiliation specifics.
