I tried it Chris. Not my thing at all, but I bet if you like this sort of music, you'd be into my friend Andras Jones's music. I was going to provide a link, but it seems his website doesn't have samples and his my space is non-musical.
I'm currently listening to "Don't Talk (Get Better)" by Beachless, a really awesome noise mash-up of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper's album with the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds that amazingly hasn't been taken down yet! Get it while you can, as this is just a huge dare for Capitol. |

"Message" by Ariel Kalma from Osmose on Beta-Lactam Ring Recordings. After driving Green Milk from the Planet Orange to play on my show and back to Chris from BLR's house last Saturday, he took me down to the basement and loaded me down with this and tons of other incredible goodies. This recording is actually a reissue from 1977, though it sounds liek a lot of current atmospheric/ambient "chill" electronic stuff these days.

D'you like them? I kind of reckoned you might have some affinity for their music, although it might be a bit more straight rock than a lot of your choices.
I finally got me Daydream Nation on genuine original Geffen CD and can now retire the old CD-R, so spare me a kindly thought as I confess I'm now listening to the new Silverchair album.
