ORBIT SERVICE
DEAD AIR FRESHENERS
BILL HORIST
LAUNDRY ROOM SQUELCHERS
Sonic Mayhem descends on Seattle on Saturday June 17,
as Lo-Fi Music Gallery (429b Eastlake Ave) plays host to Denver's dark-tinged psych-rockers ORBIT SERVICE (imagine if Roger Waters' version of Pink Floyd decided for some reason to do an evening of Cure covers and your might vaguely imagine the moody space they inhabit), Sunshine State "non geek" noise purveyors LAUNDRY ROOM SQUELCHERS, featuring members of the notorious TO LIVE AND SHAVE IN LA, a band that, in turn, features Thurston Moore, Don Fleming and Andrew WK, among others.
Representing the grayer climes of the Northwest will be guitar Saboteur, BILL HORIST, who will perform his expansive solo guitar manipulations and THE DEAD AIR FRESHENERS, with representatives from Portland, Seattle and Olympia. To hear Bill Horist explain them: "DAF presents eerie atmospheres of angular guitar, droning sax and electronic susserations in an oneiric multimedia miasma mama mia."
